About us
We are a team of enthusiasts who believe programming should be accessible to everyone. Maboomza was born from a simple idea: to create Python courses that don't scare people with complex terminology, but instead explain everything clearly and to the point. We ourselves went from beginners to confident developers, so we know all the pains and difficulties people face at the start of learning.
How it all started
Our story began several years ago when we realized that most programming learning materials are either too academic or, conversely, too superficial. There was a lack of courses that would provide practical skills without excessive theory and complicated explanations. We decided to change this. The first lessons were written late at night, after main work, each explanation was tested on friends and acquaintances who had never programmed. Their feedback was invaluable — it was thanks to them that we understood how to present material so it would be understandable.
Over time, our small idea grew into a full-fledged platform with courses of varying difficulty levels. We constantly update materials, add new examples, and improve explanations based on our students' questions. Each lesson is the result of many hours of work, testing, and editing. We don't stop at what we've achieved, because technologies evolve, and we want our courses to always be current.
Our philosophy
We believe that learning should be a comfortable process, not stress. There's no need to force yourself into deadline frames or try to learn everything in a week. Programming is a skill that forms gradually, through practice and repetition. That's why all our courses are built so you can learn at your own pace, return to difficult topics as many times as you want, and not feel pressure.
We're also convinced that it's better to do something once than hear about it a hundred times. That's why our courses are filled with practical tasks and real examples. Each topic is accompanied by code that can be run, changed, and see the result. We don't just tell you about syntax — we show how to apply it to solve specific problems. From automating routine processes to data analysis — you'll learn what's truly useful.
Another important principle for us is honesty. We don't promise that after our courses you'll become a senior developer in a month or get your dream job without effort. Learning requires time, patience, and practice. But we guarantee that we'll give you all the necessary knowledge and support so you can move forward confidently and consciously. Our task is not to sell an illusion, but to give real skills.
Why Python
When we were choosing a language for our courses, the choice was obvious. Python is a language that combines simplicity for beginners and power for professionals. Its syntax is intuitively understandable, so you can learn to write code without prior experience. At the same time, Python is used in the most diverse fields — from web development to artificial intelligence, from data analysis to automation.
Python allows you to get results quickly. After just the first lessons, you'll be able to write a working program. This motivates you to continue learning and inspires experimentation. Moreover, Python has a huge community and countless libraries for any tasks. If you need to do something — most likely, there's already a ready solution or library to help.
We see how Python changes people's lives. Designers automate file processing, marketers analyze campaign data, teachers create interactive materials for students. Python is not just a programming language, it's a tool that expands possibilities in any field. And we want as many people as possible to learn to use it.
Our team
Behind Maboomza are real people who work every day to make courses better. Dashiell, our Lead Instructor, has years of experience in teaching and development. He's responsible for making sure each lesson is structured and understandable. Sterling works on creating new content and adapts complex concepts into an accessible format. Marlowe handles content strategy and ensures our courses meet real student needs. Callahan is our Python specialist, deeply immersed in technical details and helps with the most challenging topics.
We've all gone through the path of self-learning and know how important it is to have support on this journey. That's why we're always available via email and ready to answer any questions. It's important to us that every student feels they're not alone — there's a team behind them that wants to see their progress.
What sets us apart
There are many programming courses on the market, and we understand that. But Maboomza has several features that make us unique. First, we don't artificially stretch material. Each lesson contains only what you really need to know — without fluff and unnecessary digressions. We value your time and don't want you to waste it on unnecessary information.
Second, we constantly update courses based on feedback. If many students ask about the same topic — we add additional explanations or examples. If something is unclear — we rewrite the lesson. Our courses are a living system that evolves together with students.
Third, we don't tie you to the platform forever. After purchasing a course, materials stay with you. You can return to them in a year, two, five — access won't disappear. We want our courses to be a resource you can turn to at any moment.
Who our courses are for
Maboomza is created for people who want to learn programming but don't know where to start. You might be a student looking for new skills, a professional wanting to automate their work, or simply a curious person who has always wanted to try writing code. Age, education, experience — none of this matters. Only the desire to learn is important.
Our courses are suitable for those who value flexibility. If you have an irregular schedule, children, travel, or just many things to do — Maboomza gives you the opportunity to learn when it's convenient. There's no tie to specific dates or times. Materials are always available, and you decide when to sit down to learn.
Also, our courses are for those who don't like unnecessary noise. We don't create artificial hype around programming and don't tell fairy tales about easy money. Instead, we give an honest picture: programming is a skill that requires time and effort, but opens countless opportunities. If you're ready to invest time and practice — our courses will become a reliable guide for you.
Our vision for the future
We're not stopping at what we've achieved. In our plans — expanding the course library, adding new topics, and deepening existing materials. We want to cover not only basic and intermediate levels, but also advanced topics that interest those already working confidently with Python. Machine learning, web development, test automation — these are all directions we plan to develop.
We're also working on making learning even more interactive. New task formats, more practical projects, additional materials for those who want to dive deeper into topics — all this is already in development. We listen to our students and try to implement their wishes.
Our mission is to make quality programming education accessible to everyone. We believe that everyone who wants to learn programming should have that opportunity. And we're doing everything to ensure Maboomza remains a place where people learn comfortably, effectively, and with pleasure.
